Opt-Out

If you prefer to not see targeted Bizrate / Shopzilla advertising, you've come to the right place. Opt-out in just a few easy steps.

First a little background

Our approach to customized advertising is to serve our visitors with better ads on the internet because the ads consider their individual tastes. We accomplish this by displaying either ads for products you view on our site(s) or related products. We also work with third parties who may display ads to you on other websites based on products or categories that you (your computer) viewed on our site(s).

Although we collect and share behavioral data (such as what product you looked at or what category you browsed), we do not collect or share any personally identifiable information. If you still feel you would like to opt-out of customized ads from Bizrate / Shopzilla, please follow the two steps provided below.

Please note, opting out of any of the targeted advertising programs does not mean you will no longer receive online advertising. It does mean that you will no longer be targeted with ads tailored to your web preferences and usage patterns on Bizrate / Shopzilla.

The Shopzilla opt out process is cookie based. In order for the tool to work on your computer, your browser must be set to accept third party cookies. If you buy a new computer, change your web browser, or delete your cookies, you will need to perform the opt out task again.

Also, please note that if you use more than one type of browser (such as Internet Explorer and FireFox) or more than one computer to access the internet (such as a work laptop and a home desktop), you will have to opt out on each browser and each computer you use.

Finally, this opt out only applies to customized ads from Bizrate / Shopzilla based upon products you have viewed on our site(s) and ads from third parties that relate to your usage patterns on Bizrate / Shopzilla. You may continue to see other types of advertisements from Bizrate / Shopzilla when on the internet.

STEP 1: Bizrate / Shopzilla's in-house custom advertising program

To opt out of our in-house advertising program, you must click on the "Bizrate/Shopzilla targeted ad program opt-out" button below:

STEP 2: Third Party partner custom advertising programs

To opt out of any third party advertising programs, you must:

1. Click the "Third Party Advertising Opt Out" button below
2. Check the box labeled "SELECT ALL SHOWN"
3. Scroll down and click on the "Submit your choices" button
